Since 1997, CABI Group has been dedicated to assisting farmers by providing comprehensive solutions, encompassing technical advice and a diverse range of products. We design, manufacture, and market equipment for storage, grain transfer, on-farm manufacturing of portable poultry houses, and livestock buildings. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we are committed to serving farmers and promoting animal welfare.

As a French manufacturer, CABI has always been driven by a vision to provide straightforward and robust products tailored to livestock farms, agricultural production, and direct sales, all while addressing environmental and societal concerns.

All of our manufacturing is done in-house at our facility located in Valence d’Albigeois, just 25 km (15.5 miles) from Albi in the Tarn region. Situated in the heart of a diverse breeding and polyculture production area, our site is perfectly located for various agricultural activities, including:

The CABI Group company has established itself as a market leader in professional mobile poultry houses, a premier provider of grain silos for the storage of feed, cereals, and flours, and a top supplier of livestock equipment worldwide. Our extensive product range includes drinkers, feeders, and augers for various livestock applications, as well as on-farm production processing equipment such as mixers and crushers.

From Caillol to Cabi Group, who are we?

In 1991, Michel Caillol, a french farmer in Valence d’Albigeois, created the Cabi-Caillol company. He could not find the agricultural equipment he needed for his free-range turkey farm on the market, so he decided to develop the products himself. As such, the Cabi-Caillol company was born.

From there, the company began to manufacture agricultural equipment made by and for farmers.

Initially known for its outdoor “Caillol” grain silos, Cabi innovated by creating indoor silos. In 2000, another innovation saw the light of day: the famous portable cabin (or mobile chicken coop) for rearing free-range and organic chickens. Cabi-Caillol is the creator and market leader for this product. This was then followed by a new patent for a feed trough that rations duck feed before force-feeding, the design of a portable storage hopper, the CABI BOX and many others.

Innovation is at the heart of CABI for one reason alone: to make your life easier day-to-day, to find solutions that add value to your production, and to respect animal welfare and the environment.

The company currently employs around 40 people, 25 of whom manufacture agricultural equipment. Each person has specific areas of expertise that contribute to the value of our company and guarantee customer satisfaction. The close working relationship between each member of staff ensures clear alignment with the company’s goals, as well as a highly responsive and forward-thinking service for farmers.

In October 2020, a French investment fund specialising in supporting French SMEs and an investment fund from the Occitanie region provided funding to support the company’s future development in France and abroad.

The Cabi-Caillol company then became CABI Group.

Faithful to the initial intentions of our founder, who is still supporting the company, we continue to develop high-performance, innovative products to serve farmers, animal welfare and the natural environment.
